Singer, Rene Liu, 刘若英, is currently living in the WenShan district in a 10 million dollar (Taiwanese dollars) mansion. About three years ago, she renovated her apartment and installed a massage jacuzzi.
Her neighbour downstairs claimed that everytime Rene took a bath, water leaked downstairs to the neighbour's apartment causing mold.
The neighbour is sueing Rene for 1.5 million (Taiwan dollars) to compensate for damages and emotional suffering.
Rene's lawyer has stated that if required to pay the compensation, she will take responsibilty of paying. However, there is no evidence that any leak was caused by Rene's renovation and situation should be judged by the court.
